Khyber Pass AKs are a Kalashnikov-Style rifle made famous through their use by Guerrilla fighters against the Soviets during the Soviet-Afghan War in the 1980’s. The “Khyber Pass” is a mountain pass that links today’s Afghanistan and Pakistan, also the route used by Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Babur the Tiger, Darius I, and countless other would-be conquerors between Central and South Asian as a strategic military location. A typical Khyber Pass AK is a stamped receiver AKM chambered for 7.62x39 cartridge, fitted with the triangular folding stock common to Russian AKS-74 rifles. Unlike any rifle produced by a factory or issued by a regular military force, each Khyber Pass AK is built with a mix of parts from various style Ak rifles making each rifle a unique build.
